Bad, because I'd discovered that I entered the wrong email address for the account with the correct URL.
Now I can't use the same URL for the account with the correct email. Oh well. Thank God Wahidah said it was alright. =D
We viewed our peer's blogs. Some of the blogs were brief while some were more detailed. My inference from this is that some people don't want to reveal too much about their ongoing work while others are more open about it. I would prefer to be more open rather than hiding my work. At least people know what our progress is right? Come on guys, don't hide your work okay~ I wanna -kaypoh- but I definitely won't copy! So smile! And do this blog thing! We can SOOO do it. *Gets bimbotic*
The purpose of today's lesson was to pinpoint the keypoint of our video. So everyone settled down to discuss with their groups, and this was what Snap came up with:
- 1. How fun and exciting TDS's MOI is.
- 2. How we progress from before when we knew nothing.
- 3. Learning from others and learning to work with them.
Number two is showing how much we've learnt, seeing how when we came into TDS, we knew absolutely nothing. But at the current stage that we are at, we have been enriched with so much more skills and knowledge. We will tell this to the audience throw the show reel of our individual work.
And the last point is shown to the audience through our team work. We feel that it is very important for designers to work with one another. Not only to be friends, but also to learn from each other's different experiences.
Through all this, we hope to appeal to future designers. Hopefully, this video will be able to draw in talented individuals.
After this was discussed, Snap got together and discussed about our theme again. With further debate, we decided that Graffiti was very cliche and boring. Thus, we decided to mix this theme with an equal amount of Retro and Colourful. Thus,
- Plan A is to do: Graffiti + Retro + Colourful
- Plan B is to do : Graffiti only.
- Figured out what kind of border we want—a clothesline with stills of our work.
- The background is the sky.
- The bottom will be a brick wall so that we can put the name of our work.
- The different work will “flash” by.
- Must figure out how to use more colours
I'm quite anxious about the soundtrack. I have to get some of my friends to help me with Beat boxing! This has to be done quickly as our video relies also on our soundtrack.
As for the group, we have to figure out how to integrate the three themes (Colourful, Graffiti and Retro) together and make it look like a great fusion to appeal to our audience.
I think that today, Snap has managed to find out some of the problems that we might face. This is good as we can now look out for any mistakes. Keep it up guys!
SPAZZ
I THINK HOR. OUR GROUP, GETTING ALONG BETTER AND BETTER. YAY. *WIGGLES*
